Organic Spelt Flakes are rolled from whole spelt grain, an ancient wheat variety valued for its nutty, slightly sweet flavour and easier digestibility for some people compared with modern wheat, despite still containing gluten. They make a distinctive porridge alternative, and work equally well stirred into muesli, added to bread and bakes, or used as a textured topping for crumbles.
